News from Goa: the sun shone this evening!
Well, you could almost call this "news" if it comes after an almost
ten-day rainy spell. So much for global warming, climate change, and
all its apologists who simply deny it's happening.
Aren was in a good mood while pacing down the village road. The
potholes in the hot-mixed road were deep enough to cover his
four-year-old ankles as he splashed in every possible puddle of
almost-muddy brown water that was still trickling down from the
hillside (where the government, in its wisdom, decided to site an
industrial estate and a garbage dump!)
Just thought of sharing this news with you, as we often focus on the
bad weather... but not the good. FN
