Eunuchs -- India's Third Gender (?)
This video (see link below -where Brian & Socoro dressed as Eunuchs) reminds me
of an
incidence that took place on Indian Railways half way to New Delhi (on
Vasco-Delhi Train).

4-5 of them entered our reserved compartment for begging. We were a group of 7
and one of us
gave Rs.10. Some of us were pretending as if we were busy reading newspapers.
It seems they
wanted more from the rest of us too. Seeing that nothing is coming out from us
they started
using filthy language and even acted indecently (by raising their sarees or
gagra). In the
end, in the fit of anger, they snatched the news papers from our hands and
proceeded to next
compartment while continue swearing/cursing at us loudly.
I have no intention to hurt any community feelings and I always said that we
all are children
of the same God but..
Is this the way to beg? Is it begging or extortion ?
How they are allowed in such reserved compartment?
What railways authority has to say about this?
And what about the Traveling Railways Police Force ?
Do they get their hafta too from them?
