This is a huge problem growing by leaps and bounds whilst our authorities
and builders are oblivious to what they are nurturing for posterity, at
their prosperity! I was shocked two years back,looking out of the train
compartment from Margao to Verna, at the miles and miles of slums clearly
visible. Development has to be sustainable, for the land and for its people
involved. The fallout of such disastrous planning is environmentally
unsound, as is the whole System! Pushing out vehicles by increasing
production to jam up the roads ,increase fuel consumption,create wrong jobs
by Casinos proliferation and so on.
Are we going to be like Lemmings, helplessly going to our doom and taking
the earth and all its creatures with us? God made everything perfect, the
snakes took care of rats,the rats had their uses, and so every creature and
everything on Earth and in the Cosmos worked beautifully. But Man has
proved unworthy.
Greed,selfishness, envy, more cruelty than any animals are capable of!
Man is potentially Divine. But mankind has not risen to its potential.
