Dear Selma,
Please note the following:
a) Just as - as you say - the Banalcars (or Bannavlekars) were called
"Banale Pishe", in Bardez a similar lot befell the people froim Moira. Theu
were "Moddekar Pixe".
b) Dona Paula is not part of the Bardez taluka. It falls in the North Goa
district, all right, but it is on the island of Tiswadi.
