thank you Cip for posting this.
I have one questions, perhaps some one can help (e.g. ex.bankers etc)
This old lady who is my best friend for last 20 years, made soemone her only
legal* nominee
and on the form where it asks 'relationship with the nominee' she put as
'Friend'.
However, Corporation bank staff, strongly advised her to change this as this
could create
problem later on as she still has sisters/brothers and their children.
But she does not want to give anything (if any) to her blood family as due to
some bad
treatment etc. No one talks to her and all are settled abroad. But she also
knows for sure,
upon her death, every one will come to claim her what's leftover.
Can the family members claim (by contesting may be) ?
She only realised to nominate someone (could be me?) when she read about
bollywood actress
Miss Praveen Babi who died with no will.
*she made & registered a will too.

After death, Who would like to wish his/her money etc going to the wrong people?
If you have no one trustworthy, how about JoeGoaUk?
As for me I made a will already giving equal share to both sons.
Wife? She will get from her parents a house, bank balances (if any) as she is
the only child.
Besides, when I die, I will leave my 'heart' with her and I will take with me
only the 'soul'.
So that every one (including you) given a chance to pray for my 'soul' to rest
in peace.
Will you not do this for me?
