Deforesations is the rule in Sanguem Forests as Forest department enters
into active collaboration through its acts of ommisions and acts of
commision and letting mining companies free hand towards getting forest
areas for mining purpose. Our tour towards Sanguem forests brought shocking
facts to the forefront. We found number of roads being demarcated by cutting
down thick forests in Sanguem. This picture was taken of one those roads

Forest department must investigate those responsible to make roads like this
inside the forest and initiate criminal proceedings against those found
guilty. Other it would be interpeted that forest department is in bed with
mining companies on honeymoon night. Faster it acts better it is.
