> "Don't attempt to teach a pig to sing.
Just this afternoon I met a pig in Porvorim (near the Assembly) who can sing.
However, prior to
singing, here is its demands:
1. The pig will sing in Konkani, but has not specified which script for the
lyrics.
2. The pig would like to sing on a Casino in the River Sal. Good luck.
3. The pig will only sing to Goans or those domiciled in Goa for 10 years. For
1 crore it will
sing to anybody.
4. The pig would like a Cabinet rank in the govt. or failing that a direct
bribe of 20 crores. If
20 crores is not possible, then 25 crores is fine (p.s. think like a pig).
5. The pig would like to fly out of a North Goa airport to entertain Goans in
the Gulf. Pigs don't
want to use Dabolim since it is too crowded.
6. The pig would like Regional Plan 2011 amended to allow pigs ocean front
property purely for
medical reasons (salty air/water is supposedly good for pigs). The pig would
also like a pig SEZ,
some communidade land, and any private property it can confiscate from Goan
expats since they are
away from Goa.
7. The pig refuses to get building permits to build on illegal land since it is
a pig. Human law
does not apply to pigs.
Tomorrow's report will be on pigs who fly.
Regards,
George
