RESPONSE:
The CBQC started on 12 April 1972, as the only English show on the Hindi
Vividh Bharati. It was conducted by Hamid Sayani. In 1975, Ameen Sayani started
anchoring CBQC after his brother HamidÂ’s demise. I have followed it post
1978... It was in 1994, that CBQC made an appearence on Television with Derek
O' Brien as the host.
