STRANGE BUT TRUE
Last year (May 2006) when I was holidaying in
Goa, I happened to be at my friend's place Carambolim (Ilhas), he owns a
big hill with full of cashews, where he has full manpower who pluck the
cashews and squeeze them to get cashew juice (NIRO) out of which they make a
drink called UR'RAK and then distills the more stronger Goa's most famous
drink CASHEW FENNI
That afternoon, myself, my friend and his very faithful and trained dog
(Tommy) were walking towards the distillery, suddenly a big snake (Cobra)
happens to cross our way, the cobra was frightened as much we three did, and
at the same time Cobra raised it's hood with anger sounding
FUSSSSSS....FUSSSSSS, at that very moment Tommy took a high jump over the
cobra, we two (me and my friend) stood-still speechless, within few seconds
the Cobra calmed down and slowly crawled away.
This year too I was in Goa and been to Carambolim and was passing through
the cashew plants with my and friend's family, and when we reached the same
place were we happened to meet Cobra last year suddenly the dog jumped the
same way as it jumped last year, but to my surprise we could not see any
Cobra over there.
My friend explained:- from May 2006 many times we came on this hill
accompanied by our Tommy, he comes walking all the way but this particular
place he always takes a high jump to cross and then walks further with us
normally.
Now...... Why Tommy takes high jump that particular place?????? (It's a
question mark)
Isn't this STRANGE BUT TRUE?
