Doc, your reply is, as usual, filled with questions... and insinuations. It
would be nice if you could spare a moment to think about why the Bandodkar
regime would trust deputationists (another of your favourite bugbears, together
with journalists, "non-Goans" and other miscellaneous thrash) rather tha
"another Goan". Does history, colonialism, community-relations and caste hold
some clue? Are you just so innocent or pretending to be?
I note you diplomatically duck all the other issues raised by me. Have a nice
day. FN

in response to this from me
1: After the Portuguese were expelled - the administration of Goa was
NOT handed over to Goans?
The very knowledgeable Frederick Noronha wrote: [ This is a pernicious
theory. Repeated a thousand times, it just might become believeable.
......... Wasn't Bandodkar a Goan?]
JC's response:
I submit that Frederick Noronha knows infinitely more than I do about
this matter.
Am I to infer from the non-pernicious theory postulated above by
Frederick that the administration of Goa was handed over from the
Portuguese to Bandodkar ?
If that was so ...it would really be news to me.
Then again .... I am not a newsman!
good wishes
