Yes, you are right so many people did not respond, but I have just done so a
few minutes before I got to your post.
Only an elderly man with life's experiences can have his heart gladened by
what we read, I am only 57 so still carry a few negatives as well as many more
positives in my attitude to this poster who wishes to climb every mountain &
make everything wonderful again.
But in reality his vision will not work.
Why?
60 years ago the population of India (Goa included) was around 600 million
people, this has doubled, but the land & each person's vision of a better life
has not changed.
I love the fact this man is a kind and generous person, but he must fight
tooth & nail for the space he wishes to occupy for this charitable work he
wants to do.
Only he will find a way forward, but his followers (albeit mostly elderly &
disillusioned women & naive teenagers) will have a tough job convincing the
corrupt & lawless, the wanton destruction of habitats & cementing over the
country & shoreline. Money is the key here, unfortunately the LOVE of it has
destroyed many souls.
On the bright side, let us not forget the GOOD and the CHARITABLE work being
done by the unsung heros and heroines in Goa right now, they do not seek a post
in politics, just simply a better Goa, they are many & not named, because
everyone has a heart, only they do not like everyone to know who they are,
certainly they do not get the praise they deserve, we know who you are, and may
the Gods boon you when the time comes, also on this earth.

Dear all,
I am an elderly man living in Goa ( and being disabled,spend a lot of time
on my computer with help from my grandchildren ).I have been reading Goanet
for many a year and have been disillusioned recently at how such a wonderful
tool is being misused by very intelligent persons of your young generation
to squabble over irrelevant issues.
Recently , an article titled LET'S GET TOGETHER ....AND START A SMALL
REVOLUTION was posted on Goanet. I felt a warm glow in my soul as i read it
and wished i was 50-60 years younger and join this individual in his
efforts....whatever they are ( my decades of experience with human nature
tells me there is a genuineness and sincerity in this person's thoughts )
What amazes me is that apart from 1 response....nobody has taken notice of
what could possibly be the most significant article posted on this forum for
years.
