She is a class stage artist. She is one of the gutsiest actresses of the Konkani stage. She imitated M. Boyer and went on to become the top comedienne of the Konkani stage, which ultimately resulted in a bitter rivalry between the two so much so M. Boyer would refuse to act in a tiatro if Sucurrine participated in it. One person’s loss is other person’s gain – the late Jacinto Vaz grabbed the opportunity and paired with Sucurrine. Although she is much younger to him, she acted with him quite often; they made a good comedy pair.
