There have been a couple of posts over the last 24 hours which have made me feel so,but i shall continue my mission on this forum for the present. A few clarifications/comments in response and out of respect to the Goanetters who have responded to my postings over the last few hours. 1) Regarding the query raised by C Fernandes : Please note that my mention of a clear plan A and possible plans B and C was in context of the mail from Mr J Monteiro . It is clearly not an easy task to either diagnose the multifactorial disorder affecting Goa or for that matter find a magic potion to cure what seems to be an incurable disease ( if not,why would we not have found a solution by now ?. I am clear in my mind ( and so are my colleagues ) as to what the core problems are and what the best solution is. However,as would any industrialist approach a risky new venture...or any doctor approach a complicated medical problem...or for that matter any general leading his warriors into a dangerous mission......alternative plans have to be always kept at the back of one's mind. 2) In response to Bhandare : It has gladdened my heart and soul no end reading your comments.I have been reading your posts over the last few months ( where you have been using ....or rather wasting ...your undoubted intellect and energy engaging in dialogues which are not going to achieve anything concrete). You,Sir, have set an example to many when you stated ( in stark contrast to the tone of your previous postings ),that Goans ,whether Hindu's,Catholics or Muslims forget their personal differences and work together for the good of Goa.I salute your combination of courage, humility and ability to be open minded. 3)With respect to Selma : My sincere apologies are due to you if i have ( in any way ),said something in my postings to hurt you or any other Goanetters.Reading your past comments on Goanet ,it is obvious to me that you are a very educated, intelligent and determined person....and most importantly, someone who would be an invaluable asset to us in our single minded goal ( that of making Goa a better place for the present and perhaps more crucially future generations ) Apart from this objective,I have absolutely no interests or personal agenda's to pursue when i take the time and effort ( both of which i can ill afford to waste in view of the fact that i have an extremely tight schedule in terms of my professional and family commitments ) to write on Goanet.I shall wait and watch for a short while more as to how many are prepared to focus on the betterment of Goa as of TODAY rather than be more concerned about what possibly happened in that little stretch of water between India and Sri Lanka a long long time back. And just in passing,do any of the Goanet community think that Shakespeare's literary efforts would have been any less sweeter if he had written them under any other name? Luv and regards, Arjun Eklawya Sadiq-Saldanha
