We should not encourage the high speed corridor between Kanyakumai and Goa.
It should bypass Goa and go straight to Mumbai or Delhi. We have enough
Malayalis from Kerala in Goa. We do not need to add Tamilians to the mix and
overhelm Goa ! Viva Goa !.

High speed corridor between Kanyakumari and Goa
KOTTAYAM: P.J. Joseph, Kerala Congress (J) leader and former Public Works
Minister, has called for a high-speed western corridor for the Railways
between Kanyakumari and Goa. He says the project should be taken up on the
lines of Konkan Railway and should run parallel to the double line
connecting Kanyakumari, Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam, Sabarimala, Erumeli,
Angamali, Shoranur, Mangalore and Goa, which will extend to Mumbai. This
high-speed corridor will have to be supplemented by a four-lane high-speed
parallel road.
