Goa emerging as IT
hub, claims CS

PANJIM, OCT 8 Chief Secretary, J.P Singh claimed that Goa is emerging
as a developed State in the country due to concerted efforts of the government
and people of the State.
Singh was speaking at a valedictory function of the national seminar on
valuation of Assets organized by Institution of valuers, Goa
branch at Porvorirn recently.
Speaking further, the chief secretary said Goa
will be the first State in the country to have the service of integrated citizen
service centre and broadband connectivity in every house. He said Goa is
emerging as an IT hub.
He also stated that the Institution of Valuers plays a major role in the
growth of economy in the State. Singh assured to provide all possible help to
the
institution.
Ramesh Verenkar,and E. Moniz also spoke in the occasion. RP Varde Chairman
welcomed the guests, Lloyd Macedo proposed the vote of thanks.
