Demand to withdraw
builders from Task Force committee

MARGAO, OCT 9 Ami Modgaonkar an organised former for better Margao, better
Madgaonkars has strongly condemned the appointment of builders on the RP 2021
Task Force committee and appealed to Chief Minister Digambar Kamat to
immediately take action to cancel their appointments.
The NGO felt theres a foul play in the appointment of Datta Naik on the
committee and supported the demand made by Peoples Forum to give
repreentations to representatives of other organisations and congratulated Adv
Satish Sonak for voicing this issue.
The organsation also requested Home Minister Ravi Naik to become tough to curb
the menace of thefts at Margao and other parts of Goa
and threatened to launch an agitation if the CM does not take steps to consider
their demands.
The newly-elected Committee of Ami Modgaonkar is Peter Gomes as Convenor, Jose
Fernandes (VP), Damodar Redkar Secretary, Dean DSouza, treasurer, Atchut Alve,
Gita Amonkar and Rosita Carvalho.
