   Thanks for an excellent reply to Anjali. I had sent a brief one too but I 
don't think it has appeared on Goanet yet. One serious error Anjali makes is to 
forget that India is a secular state. It is  definitely not Hindu India even 
though the population is predominantly Hindu. Great care was taken by Nehru and 
others to reject the suggestion that India be called Hindustan and also to 
emphasise strongly its secular foundations.

You mean to tell me that you feel under attack in a
land of 600 million plus fellow Hindus? If so, have
you thought about how insecure minorities like
Christians and Muslims feel?
