To a message posted by Marshal Mendonca, I had made the following point:
"Secondly, even if the BJP did not do anything, does it mean that the plight of
the Kashmiri Pandits should be ignored? More than 300,000 have been living as
refugees in their own land, since 1989."

I am heartened by Vidyadhar Gadgil's response, namely: "Of course, their plight
must be addressed. Meaningful solutions must be found." It is, of course, his
opinion that the exhibition organised by the Hindu Janjagruti Samiti is not the
way to go about doing it. Not having seen the exhibition, I am not able to
comment on Vidyadhar's point.

The moot point, however, is what has been done by the non-Sangh parivar people
to addrss their plight, and what exactly is a meaningful solution. As I had
said the Kashmiri Pandits have been living as refugees since 1989. I have
personally not seen anyone else highlighting their plight That does not mean
that no one else has done it. :Perhaps Vidyadhar can inform us who else has
taken up the issue of the Kashmiri Pandits.
