Selma Carvalho says: "In order to form a nation, one must suffer some
historical amnesia."

I must say I am disappointed with what Selma has said. Does this mean that the
American Indians should forget what was done to them? Or that the Kashmiri
Pandits should accept what has happened to them and pretend that it did not
happen? Or the Chinese should forget what the Japanese did to them in the
Second World War? Or the Jews should forget the Holocaust?
