TUM KITEM MHUNTAI ERMAO?
Few days back there was theft in Cuncolim at a petrol station, then within days there was theft in Margao, up to now there are no clues. Concerning the Cuncolim case police have gone to Kholapur to seach for evidence, and concerning the Margao case one police batch has gone to Kolkota. But in my opinion I feel these THIEVS are still in GOA, of else how come the third stike is in Vasco? Its also possible that the KONKAN Railway is in favor of these theivs, and if the SPEED CORRIDOR is installed on GOA ROUTE, most of the gold shops in Margao, Vasco will empty with a short time. Do you feel secured with the current police force in Goa? Goa police is quite efficient in catching those who rob BANDA-VELLE NARL because they are not highly skilled. Burglars broke into two homes in separate cases while the inmates were attending Dussehra festivities and stole valuables worth a combined Rs 1.41 lakh. In the first case, a goldsmith from Patrong-Baina complained that gold ornaments worth over Rs 1.16 lakh were stolen from his home-cum-shop on Wednesday night. Vasco police said the goldsmith had gone to his mother-in-laws house at Cuncolim for the Dussehra festival on Wednesday evening. On his return the next day, the goldsmith noticed that burglars had entered his house by removing the roof tiles and stole the valuables from the drawer. Interestingly, the victim failed to lodge a police complaint immediately after the incident and on the contrary, repaired his house. Police stated that the goldsmith had recently started his business and was afraid that he would lose customers if his name became public due to the burglary. Hence, he only intimated the police on Friday evening. In the second incident, burglars broke into the house sometime between 11.15 pm and 1.15 am, when the complainant, Anand Lakhani and his wife were attending the dandiya and garba dance at MPT hall. On his return, Lakhani noticed the main door damaged and the box containing the gold bangles and silver coins worth Rs 25,000 were missing. Police has registered an offence under Sections 457 and 380 of IPC and PSI Y Gawas is investigating the case. http://oheraldo.in/pagedetails.asp?nid=3076&cid=26 Sanny de Quepem <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Send instant messages to your online friends http://uk.messenger.yahoo.com
