Multilingual drama festival begins at Curchorem today
HERALD NEWS DESK PANJIM, OCT 22The Directorate of Art & Culture, Govt. of Goa in collaboration with West Zone Cultural Centre, Udaipur will be organizing Multilingual Drama Festival (Natyotsav - 07) at Ravindra Bhavan, Curchorem - Goa from October 23 to 27. The festival is organized to build up the theatre movement and to encourage the theatrical activities and to provide opportunities to the theatre lovers to witness the stage performances by the artist from other state and to develop their talents. In all 5 plays in the languages Konkani, Hindi, Gujarathi, Marathi and i-will be presented during the festival every day from October 23 to 27 at.00pm as follows: October 23-Devchar Khelayta Mogyanka Melayta (Konkani) by Kala. Academy, Goa.. October 24Ek Sapno Bado Shaitani (Gujarathi) directed by Nimesh Desai, Gujarat. October 25 Dangalnama (Marathi) directed by. Vidyanidhi Vanarse, Maharashtra. . October 26 Saffar (Hindi) directed by Vipin Purohits Delhi. October 27 Rag Darbari directed by. Vijay Kumar. Mumbai. This Natyotsav - 07 will be inaugurated on October 23 at 6.30 p.m. The noted personalities in the field of theater. Alka Velingkar and Vijay Thali will be present as chief guest and president of the function.
