Goa Sudharop would like to thank those who responded yesterday offering accomodation to those who need it. Many Goans displaced by the fires have found shelter and we will contact those who offered help as the need arises. Southern California Goans (Los Angeles, Orange County, San Diego counties) have really reached out to help those in distress and a big thank you to them.

Please note by our charter we can only directly help Goans, although privately our supporters are helping the general population to the extent possible. Also please note if you have relatives in Northern California (San Jose, Oakland, Sacramento, San Francisco, Berkeley, Daly City, Concord, Walnut Creek, Fresno, etc.) they are not affected. The distance between Northern and Southern California where the fires are is approximately 300+ miles (approx 500+ km). If you can offer temporary accommodation or financial assistance, please respond asap.
