Thanks for connecting anything and everything to Goa, we should have a trade
mark on them. Gypos, Romanies, Egypto, Travellers - Goan Catholics? you
mentioned the coconut but missed out that ALL Gypos are Catholics (they wear
BENTINS, scapulars).
1. Bright colours and the women's dress (gagro) are Rajasthani in origin.
2. Coconut are mode of offerings for the whole of India not just in Goa.
3. Have you seen the Jamaicans with gold teeth? - Goan origin?
4. My great grand mother told me Konkni is Sanskrit in Origin, most of all
she couldn't even read or write, let alone knowing what Sanskrit script looked
like, but she said it.
5. Even the British Royal family is Goan in origin (Indian) - arranged
marriages!!

RESPONSE: Gypsies are called Gypos here ( derogatorily ). Gypsies did
originate from India...Goa to be precise. Their Romany language, if spoken
slowly could be understood as Konkani. Their ceremonies which have Coconuts,
also alludes to Goa, as are their bright clothes and love of Gold - surely a
