Dears, Manohar Parrikar is NOT the "Right man in the wrong party." He is the wrong man for Goa's CM, irrespective of which party he may belong to.
The choice of political parties in Goa is similar to the choice of Carnival parties on Sabado Gordo or Mardi Gras or anytime in between. They all have a lot of colour and a lot of spirit ...and very liitle else. There is more arithematics [enough to count 21] than ethics! I would agree with Vinay Natekar that Manohar bab makes an excellent Leader of the Opposition. That is exactly the post he has now .... and he is doing a good job at it. There is no need for us to do what the bus lobby and the truck lobby does; promote a bus conductor or cleaner to the driver's job. That is what results in so many accidents and deaths on the roads. Let Manohar-bab for ever remain the leader of the Opposition. Give him the perks of a CM [instead of just of a Minister], if you must ....but keep him as a Leader of the Opposition. He goes berserk the moment he becomes the CM and cannot hold on to his chair for the 5 year term. We have seen that twice already. It was no coincidence that we need to test it a third time.
