Despite all the claims, it can still be pretty tough to get broadband connections in some parts of the state. Including in Porvorimm, the bustling and crowded suburb of Panjim. My friend, Caje, who recently managed getting one (he stays near the Holy Family school) wrote: "For broadband...first get a landline..then go to commercial office of BSNL in PanJim opp Mithai Mandir on 18th June Rd and fill broadnand application...should be done in a week."
For long, the BSNL (which is a dominant player outside of the main towns specially) took refuge in the claim that they didn't have capacity. FN -- Frederick Noronha http://fn.goa-india.org Ph 0091-832-2409490 12000+ downloadable, sharable hi-res photos http://www.flickr.com/photos/fn-goa/
