Once again at the Taipa stadium, Korea torpedoed Bharat the former 5 time
Olympic hockey champions 7-4 in a pulsating game. Korea led 3-2 in the first
half. Bharat then equalised in the second half. But some precision passing and
striking capacity put the Koreans well ahead in the game. A vociferous bharat
desi crowd in Macau did not help to lift their team.
One must note that the Koreans started playing hockey in the mid eighties when
they held the 1988 Seoul Olympics. Today they are a march above their famous
rivals ie. Bharat and Pakistan.
