Hi John It is possible to find out the names of all the ships plying the Indian Ocean from African ports to the sub continent. I did this once and was amazed at how much detail there was if the Lines were googled. One small point, I would be pleased to hear if Eric's ship docked at Genoa, to the UK presumably, from Bombay or Mombasa? We sure live in a small world. Cornel
