Goa CM flays Buddha say
Panaji, Nov. 4: Goa today reacted strongly to West Bengal chief minister Mr Buddhadeb Bhattacharjee’s statement questioning the tourist state’s status as the permanent venue for the International Film Festival of India (IFFI). “Why should Mr Bhattacharya comment that way? We successfully organised the IFFI three times,” chief minister Mr Digamber Kamat said while talking to PTI. Mr Kamat invited his West Bengal counterpart to visit the state during the festival, beginning later this month, and see how it is being organised. “There is absolutely no question of IFFI being shifted out of Goa.” n PTI http://www.thestatesman.net/page.news.php?clid=2&theme=&usrsess=1&id=175479 - Forwarded by: Sanny de Quepem <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Send instant messages to your online friends http://uk.messenger.yahoo.com
