Hello Goanetters from New Jersey area!
I don't know my geography of New Jersey or New York, or how far they are from each other. All I know is "Mog aslear, ghanttar pavtat khoim". So all you Goans, Mangaloreans and other Konkani lovers follow the road to New Jersey and attend the Konkani Tiatr "Adeus"! The second performance of this show by Toronto Canadian Goans will be staged on November 10, 2007, at the Parish Center of Our Lady of Peace Church, 1740 US Highway Route 130 North, North Brunswick, New Jersey, starting at 3:30 pm. I am sure Venantius Pinto will be there if it's not too far for him. Hope all Goans go for this show, not just "Aam" Goans, but other Goan elite intellectuals, 'English' Goans and all other kind of hyphenated Goans who only know that Konkani is our mother-tongue but have no practice with it or have never spoken it. Anyway, it doesn't matter, just go for this Tiatr and laugh because the next guy is laughing. At least you will see a Goan Kashtty and witness some beautiful Konkani comedy that should make you laugh, especially with the Salcete Konkani accent! Thanks to Miguel Barreto, Kepemkar, who has spearheaded this Konkani venture the first time in New Jersey along with other Konkani lovers such as Felix Menezes and others.
