Given the wholesale loot and rape of Goan land by the real estate and mining
lobbies in Goa with
the aid of Goan governments over the years, as pointed out by Rajan, Miguel,
Floriano, and others
on Goan forums, expat Goans might wonder what can be done. One very obvious
thing that can be done
from afar is, keep expat Goans apprised of what is happening and get them
mentally involved.
Second, all expat Goans will have relatives and friends in Goa whom they can
contact and influence
to get involved. Every person can be a force multiplier this way. Do not let
the real estate and
mining mafia urinate on the memory of your Goan ancestors.
Spread the word, encourage others to take up the good fight. Most important do
something yourself.
Goa is not a tourist place now, it is now a war zone and the fight cannot be
won without your
help. Every person counts.
