And a blind man came to Jesus. He was born blind. Jesus asked him as to what he wanted from him and this man said "I want to see" Jesus felt pity on him. He made a paste of mud and put it on his eyes and told him"Go have a wash." He could see. The Pharises tried to question the boy and his parents. Though the boy could not see earlier he felt the love of God in his heart. He could hear Jesus speaking around him and could identify his voice as that of the Lord. Today we are blind. We cannot see the living God. We have been only hearing His voice but are not able to identify that voice as a Divine voice. We are encircled in paganism. The force of the earth is too much for us that we are pulled to the elements of the world. Jesus is touching us and asking us "Son, daughter what do you want " but we have failed to identify the voice as the voice of the true shepherd. We are carried away by rituals. We are carried away by the riches of the world that has an end. We failed to understand the call of our Master. Today Jesus is still alive and he wants to meet us. He wants to take us to His Father. He wants to carry our cross.We are engrossed with our own earthly work and though we are bent with the weight of the heavy cross we still want to carry it ourselves and while doing this we are frustrated with the suffering and we do not know what to do. Jesus has been repeatedly telling us to hand over the cross to him and he will carry it for us. We have failed to recognise Jesus. We have failed to distinguish him from other earthly men. We have failed to hear His Father's voice. We have failed to feel the love of God. God loves the world that He came down on the earth as Jesus and lived like one of us.
