Ticketing Instructions to the Delegates/Media, IFFI 2007

1. For entry to the festival theatre a delegate should posses a valid ticket and delegate card as it will be verified to gain entry to the theatre.

2. The tickets to be booked for screening are only for the convenience of the delegates and will be free of cost.

3. Each delegate card shall have a bar code and a unique ID No. on the card. For booking of the ticket the delegate will have to furnish this delegate card to the box office booth. The card will be scanned and the Identity of the delegate will be verified, hence the delegate can book a ticket for self only and not on behalf of others.

4. Ticketing will commence from 23rd Nov 2007 and each delegate can book a maximum of 3 tickets only per day for the General delegates, 4 tickets per day for the Film Industry delegates and 5 tickets per day for the Press. Hence a general delegate can book a maximum of 9 tickets for 3 days at one time and a film industry delegate can book a max of 12 tickets at one time.

5. Delegate can book for only the present day, tomorrow and the day after.

6.     Each movie will have a screening code.

7. The ticket will bear the screening code, the name of the movie, the date and time of screening on it.

8. There will be a total of 15 box office booths (6 at INOX, 7 at GMC, 2 at Kala Academy) to issue tickets for the delegates.

9.     The timing for the box office would be from 8.00 am to 11.00 pm

10. There will be a real time display on T.V. Screens around the venue displaying the status of the seating for each screening based on which the delegate has to make a choice of the screening and book the tickets accordingly.

11. Delegate with a valid card can watch more than the allotted quota of 3/4 movies, on first come first serve basis, if un-booked seats are available for any show. Such empty seats will be booked on a first come first serve basis to the delegates. The delegates standing in queue will be let inside the theatre after the delegates having valid tickets are let in.

12. In case of un-booked seats, half an hour prior to the screening of a movie, the quota fixed for press and delegates will be released for open booking.

13. The delegate will not be allowed to move from one screen to another within the premises without a valid ticket.

14. Due to unforeseen circumstances, in case any show is cancelled the booked ticket will stand cancelled.

15. The delegates who collect the tickets but are unable to attend the movie are requested to return the tickets back to the box office, failing which the delegates may be restricted from booking tickets hence forth.
