Dear Cedric, This has reference to your posting on above subject. I realized from your writing that you are equally disturbed to see our Margao being literarily gifted free to non-Goans only to create vote banks. They have established their umpires at Moti Dongor; Azad Nagar (opposite railway station); Kharebad; and Fakiraband with the blessings of politicians. The very same situation prevails in all other constituencies of Goa.
Yet one just cannot clean one's house single handedly. It's a common logic that if one helps the neighbors...neighbors too start helping. For quite some time we forgot this great philosophy due to our narrow minded political affiliations and started creating "foes" rather than creating "good neighbors". On account of this, we are surrounded with foes than good neighbors. May be this is one of the reason the roof tops of many ancestral houses in Margao and other parts of Goa have kissed the ground! I don't want to see the "planned attempt" of our politicians to bring down the entire roof top of our lovely Goa (Margao included!). Would you love this to see! I think its high time we think rationally and unit ourselves for the cause of our Goa! Cedric let me sight you another prevailing reality! Today most Goans are seen caught-up with 5 F cycles! First F prompts to play FOOT BALL; after playing they feel tiered so they resort to FENNI; once they are on fenni they take on eating FISH; and when the stomach is full they enjoy themselves with FILMI CHAKKAR; and after this chakkar they go FRICK OUT and embrace themselves (knowingly or unknowingly) to 5th F ....I believe you can presume what this 5th F is? Yes ..you rightly guessed it....it's FLASH TRADE EMBRACING! Our politicians are so shroud that they not only help them to enjoy these 5 Fs but also extend all moral support to propagate these "liked 5 Fs" and yet make money! You know what's their intension in supporting these 5 Fs? Simple, they know that once you are in this cycle you will never get time to check what these rouges are doing!!!!!!!!!!! Today Goans have realized this and are desperately on the look out of a Real Efficient Leader (REL)! Today they even say that they don't mind locating one REL from amongst prevailing 40 thieves. Have you any suggestion in naming one REL's name from amongst existing 40? Know let me pick up one line from your posting "it is time to put our resources, join hands with each other, especially with individuals of some morality who have an insight on Goa and do not have corruption and loot on their minds..." Can you please elaborate on this..... Goans are very much inclined to understanding you and your philosophy. May be we Goans might get better ideas from you? Before I conclude please don't forget to read the appeal made to all Goans by Floriano Lobo titled "Two-in-One IFFI-2007" dated Tue, 20 Nov 2007. In all certainty if Goa is protected definitely our Margao will see better days in coming years OR else....
