Good work.
Isn't it compulsory for the mining companies to reclaim the mining
pits once they are done making a ton of money on it?
Why is the Cetral/Goa govt. not making it legal and binding for the
mining companies to grow trees on such land and recover the destroyed
forest.
I believe in this way we will not only recover the lost forest cover
but also take care of greenhouse CO2 gas as the young growing plants
will consume a lot of it.
In addition we will also have higher rainfall due to the increased greenery.
Environmental conservation and sustainability seem to be not existing
in the books of morally bankrupt Goan mining companies, only thing
they care for is accumulation of wealth-- at any cost. Keep up your
good work.
