name). The lyrics are by Digu's confidante Uday
Bhembre, now pen&tongue-tied as Goa is being

quality is not very good and I haven't had the

at AIR Panjim is as bad (both, I presume, are
transfers from scratchy 78s).

Thank you for the music. Ulhas Buyao was really a great soul who loved
his motherland and mother tongue ...and one never really knew which he
loved more.
Adv. Uday Bhembre, who wrote the lyrics, has always had a way with
words ..... until now. You are absolutely right. He is now pen and
tongue tied.
The merger of Sadashivgad, Karwar and Joida talukas [at least
Sadashivgad was Sondekar Raja property in 1764, days before he took
shelter in Portuguese Goa] is easier said than done. Adv. Uday
Bhembre, like the present day Matanhy Saldanha, has been a one-term
wonder of Goa Legislative Assembly.
