IffI for Ghantis at Margao
It didnt take me long to realise why of all the places the CM Digamber kamat
chose the costa grounds at Aquem as a venue for IFFI, despite there being such
a grand stadium at Fatorda.
Friends in hometown aquem say that it is all done to appease the ghantis from
atop monte hill, which is a walking distance from costa grounds at aquem.
These days the costa ground at aquem looks like a ghantiencho carnival i am
told.
