Good Luck & Good Fortune to You ALL for this event. Its really good news that
so many people will gather together & demonstrate their feelings regarding
these Economic Zones which are nothing more than a money-making project & none
of it will make any Goans feel any safer in their beds at night, nor feed their
children, in the short medium or long term!

Enough of the money-grabbing politicians, police & land developers who are
raping the country & surplanting greenery for cement, with no thought for the
long term damage to Goa, instead of keeping pace with natural growth, the
population of Goa will quadruple if this SEZ goes forth, or changes its name to
something else...................... this would not surprise me if the protests
take hold and the plans are put on hold or on the back boiler, they will return
disguised as something else.

Good Luck on 18th, just two and half weeks left, pass on the message to meet
up and may the police keep a RESPECTFUL distance from the protestors too.
Maybe cameras ought to be clicking when any so-called law enforcer (in uniform
or in plain clothes) is any less than a metre away from a protestor), witnesses
is one thing but like Vivian says, a picture tells a million words. What would
a thousands pictures say?

  Good luck?

I am glad to see that people are awakening to the menace of SEZs in Goa. I hope
people will turn up at the Azad Maidan on December 18 in numbers exceeding
those that attended the anti-Regional Plan 2011 meeting, which put an end to
that Regional Plan. Goa's very existence is at stake. As Rajan Parrikar has
shown us in pictures in recent weeks, with pictures worth a million words, Goa
is going to the dogs (a polite word for all the riff-raff whohave been
attracted to Goa). So please pass the word around, to your relatives, your
neighbors and friends and turn out in thousands to send a clear message.to the
people who are conniving to loot Goa and Goans. The very existence of the Goa
we know and love is at stake. Viva Goa ! Remember, December 18, morning, Azad
Maidan, Panjim.
