Every time a delegation of activists meets Digu with clear evidence of
violations in construction activities, Digu's programmed response is, "I
will study it. I am accessible. I will not do anything to harm Goan
interests." There is no urgency, no sense at all that he is troubled by what
is happening around him. Instead, like the Lufthansa First Class frequent
flyer Sri Ravishankar, Digu is a picture of equanimity.
Digu has been doing a lot of studying lately and not much else. DLF,
Parsvanath Builders and Co will no doubt confer on him an honorary doctorate
after he submits the fruits of his meditations in the form of a
dissertation. That would be a great day for secularism and GBA will be
pleased no doubt.
And who can deny that Digu and his ministers-in-crime are not accessible?
