To the Editor:

I am very interested in the special bond developed among the Indians from India
that landed in East Africa via the development of the Railway starting from
Mobassa in the 1890 and the subsequent settling of the diverse community which
due to the segregated nature of the prevailing Britsh Colonial rule forced all
to live in coned/defined areas and develop via the schools of the time into a
comingled society, separate yet collective. In this regards I am interested to
contact all those who attended the Government Indian High School later called
the Duke of Gloucester School. Could you possible help?
Sincerely,
Suniti Mohindra
