The Archbishop's view should be looked into -- what does it encompass. I too if I were an Archbishop, would perhaps have said the same, but would have given reasons, as to why I have to resort to that stance; as he probably did. No harm in that whatsoever; the Catholic Schools are a full blown educational system that has benefitted entire cadres of elites, as well as folks like me. Perhaps in the middle class rejecting them, a sea change is on the way -- as long as the teachers continue teaching in the same undiuted spirit. I feel one could have a beneficial discusson if his view and the contestations were summarised.
