Is this the beginning of the end of the Goan's patience? Yesterday a group
of Taleigaon villagers attacked the IT Habitat at Dona Paula.
The IT Habitat, a fraud on the Goan people cooked up by the IT Minister, is
a front for real estate thieves. (Is BPO the most we can aspire to?) The
Taleigao villagers have united under their MLA Babush Monserrate to oppose
this scam.
But don't get your hopes up just yet. Rumours are rife of backdoor
negotiations concerning large amounts of cash transfers to dissipate the
resistance.
