Dear Goanetters
What I have written is absolute the right thing. People who have left Goa and
have settled in the west are feeling homesick. The whites do not want to mix up
with the blacks. They do not even want to sit and have a beer with the Indians.
Very few might do and hence you felt to have a link with the rest of the goans.
I know many goans when in Goa would not even look at those who belong to the
middle class like me. Today by chance if I go to the west they will hug me and
kiss me. That is our goan mentality. I have openly criticised because there is
no other forum to do but there are others who pretend to be holy .I had written
in the past "Albert cannot write about the priests but Edward Silva can make
Padre Pio the great saint a fake person. Now a days nobody believes in caste
system. Our girls have married boys whose caste is not known. Some have married
non goans while many have married hindus and Muslims. Hats off to them but
there are goanetters harping on bamon sudir issue which is outdated. Please
criticise that first and come to me later.
