His CLAIMS of WORK BEING STOPPED in SEZs in Verna is blatant FALSEHOOD.
Verna and Sancaole will have to follow the Keri example.
The work in the fradulent SEZ in Keri was STOPPED BY THE DETERMINED SOLIDARITY
OF THE VILLAGERS.
On Saturday, the Keri nagrik Samiti and the SEZ Virodhi manch SUPERVISED the
removal of the last three machines.
No Government official (save a handful of policemen) was present to monitor
whether the promoter would not cheat again.
A public meeting, held in Priol on Saturday evening, was addressed by the
activists of the Keri Nagrik Samiti and the Goa Bachao Abhiyan.
On Sunday, 9 December, a meeting will be held at VAGURME
On Monday 10 December: rally at 3.30 pm at QUEPEM followed by public meeting
to uphold the people's rights (called by the Gawda, Kunbi, Velip and Dhangar
Federation (GAKUVED) to observe International Human Right Day
On Tuesday, 11 December, 5.30 pm, Panel discussion on SEZs at the Xavier Centre
for Historical Research, Porvorim.
