Hi Gabe,

This is the same slant we get about his reading, quoting and reference of
'science' - LOGICAL FALLACY.

Since when is the following nationality?

"In South Africa there are the English, Afrikaans, Indians, Muslims, Zulus,
Ndebele, Sepedi, Xhosa, Sesotho, to name a few groups."

Since when in USA is "White or African-American" a nationality?

Now a true scholar and gentleman would apologize for an inadvertant error ....
wouldn't he?
OK!  Apologies accepted.:=))
Regards, GL

QUESTION: What is 'nationality' - are we not all Indians, who wear on their
sleeves different castes ? Is there so called Brahmin nationality and so on and
so forth ?

------------ Santosh Helekar

In revising the definition of casteism someone equated caste with any other
form of identification, such as nationality. Nothing can be farther from the
truth. One can be proud of one's nationality.

------------- Gilbert Lawrence

In South Africa there are the English, Afrikaans, Indians, Muslims, Zulus,
Ndebele, Sepedi, Xhosa, Sesotho, to name a few groups. Each of them have their
centuries-old identity and their individual history. This is totally different
from and has nothing to do with APARTHEID. Doing away with Apartheid does not
involve even remotely doing away with or merging these social groups. And
these groups do not want to loose their own identity of which they are very
proud.

Similarly in America, ending SEGREGATION has nothing to do (even if one wishes)
with denying or ignoring White or African-American culture, history or identity.
