someone who is immortal. The endorsement by the Pope is wholly

When we call Gandhi the "Father of the Nation", we do not ask every

Thanks for your detailed explanation about Hindu
deities. Miguel Braganza is merely inventing facts so
that he can spin them the way he wants.His arguments
about hindu deities is patently bogus. Like you have
said Shiva is a dravidian import..Of course the theory
that aryans imported hinduism is a bogus one to begin
with. It is the creation of know racists like max
mueller and others faithfully propagated by marxist
lemings from the JNU.
In fact Miguel is not breaking new ground here. faced
with a pan hindu resurgence , marxists have been
spreading this theory of hindus being different from
dalits and adivasis. You will see a lot of such
analysis in the recently concluded gujarat polls.
Apologists for the Inquisition belabor on a few
"facts" ad infinitum..One being that it was directed
only towards neo converts.The second that Francis
xavier had nothing to do with because the inquisition
started sometime after his death.
Though the inquisition did target neo-converts , the
majority of these neo converts were hindus to begin
with. Secondly even though francis xavier died before
the inquisition was formally established he was the
one who asked for it. His own record of communal
tolerance is best described by reading his own
letters.
yet those who revile Manu (and rightly so) do not
utter a word against Francis xavier.
The other line of defence is parroting every possible
permutation and combination of oppression. Just
because some caste brahmins oppressed the so called
lower caste,doesnt make the inquisition any less
horrible.
Also even if manu did legitimise caste oppression how
many hindus today rever Manu as a saint? are fairs
held in his honor? how many hindus have actually read
the manu smriti? maybe some rajah did massacre
buddhists but are ordinary hindus today eulogising
that bigot?
If only christians neo or otherwise were the targets ,
why were most hindu temples demolished in all the old
conquests? goanet archives have some interesting
reasons..that they were demolished by the hindus
themselves once they became christians or that no
temples were demolished...
We need to spread this information among children so
that they grow up with the correct knowledge about
history..
when is hindu janjagruti going to held an exhibition
about this?????
