Portrait of Jaivanti, a mahar woman I ran into at Korgaon.
She told me she was a mahar when we got talking, and
invited over to her place but I had to decline as I had a
prior appointment to keep with a fellow bamon. Besides,
I had just polished off a cup of chai and a plate of shiro
along with my friend & driver, Babu Naik from the vani caste.
