the total destruction of the Goa environment presently underway.

Dear Dotor,
Now that we have a paediatrician in this debate on "Freeze Goa's
Population" espoused by the two Parrikars, on stage and on net, may I
humbly submit that the GMAS [and its Baby wing,YFG] should "X" out the
very last alphabet in their slogan "Say 'NO' to SEZ."
Population is better "frozen" by saying a firm "No!" to SEX. As Tina
Turner would sing "What does SEZ have to do with it? It is but a
second class e-motion!"
In the meanwhile just check out the new names in usage:
Assonora = Alsanwadi
Carrasco vaddo = Karaswadda
Mapusa Housing Colony =Ganeshpuri
Alto Corlim = Ekta nagar
Canca Bandh =Santeri Nagar
Dabolim = Zuari nagar
Alto Penha de France = Pundalik Nagar
Tivim =Thivim
Collem =Kolomb
and the name "Alto Porvorim" is going everywhere from Penha de France
to Alto Torda, to Alto Betim, to Pilerne, Alto Soccoro and now Alto
Sangolda ...except that Vidya Probhodini School and HSS is at
"Vidyanagar, Parvari" as per their letterhead and the Govt. High
School is still at Alto-Betim while all the surrounding institutions
are in Porvorim. ;-)
