REVISION OF ELECTORAL ROLLS/MISSING NAMES
Since I was personally involved having my name removed ,I discovered my name
was similarly removed in 1994, where I personally handed over a letter to the
then CEO(I have an acknowleged letter dated 22/11/94). It appears there was no
reply, no action on my asking inter alia,how dead persons can feature on the
Rolls and resident living ones removed.There again I had filed form 6, which in
fact is for first timers having to prove citizenship amongst other things! I
have suggested they have a new form 6 a) for those whose names already featured
and are subsequently missing! Under RTI I found that the Election Commision of
India has issued detailed instructions which are followed more in the
breech.Genuine voters are harassed.Migrant labour are EASILY included due
political pressure and interference,enumerators detailed not properly
trained/instructed as laid down,no effective cross checking or supervision
done! Public is denied convenient access to information, instead of
being assisted, AS IS LAID DOWN. Records are not meticulously recorded or
maintained or cooked up. And there is general cover up of lacunae pointed out,
instead of rectification.In all this, no one is held responsible, or made
accountable with consequences for negligence,incompetence or dereliction of
duty. The fault lies with us for not following up, though I cant blame the
effected citizens who fail to go through the mill, be harassed, treated like
subordinate subjects, run around from pillar to post for no fault of their own.
I am sending specific observations wrt EC Guidlines quoted verbatim and what
I have gone through to CEC,CEO,GSEC,Collector North Goa and CM. I can only do
what is in my hands, the results......???????. Nothing moves unless there is
agitation or violence.Nobody except CEC acknowledges E mail, and when our
authorities do, see below:

SO MUCH FOR AAM ADMI CONFIDENCE IN E GOVERNANCE!!!!!
