As part of 6th Anniversary Day Celebrations a new exhibit Corner on Virtual Reality in FunScience Gallery and Prehistoric Animal Park was inaugurated at Goa Science Centre on 19th December, 2007. In the VR exhibit you see yourself as a drummer on a TV screen infront of you and play Virtual Drums by moving hands in air. Other exhibits are shadow capture where your shadow is frozen on a screen and in the Exhibit Colour Shadow you can see your colourful shadows. The prehistoric animal park has few models of prehistoric animals such as Dinosaurs, Ooly Mammoth, Uiantharaium, T-Rex, Brachiosaurus, Ankylosaurus etc. These exhibits will the permanent features of Goa Science Centre.
A New Travelling Exhibition on "Biodiversity-The Web of Life" was also inaugurated at Goa Science Centre on the same day. The exhibition depicts various aspects of Biodiversity through attractive panels, Models, Interactive exhibits etc. The exhibition has been developed by the National Council of Science Museums, Kolkata and will remain on display at this Centre for about a month.
