Hi Edward
I do not need to pull "the other one" re dating. I offered a provable fact
but you offered pure speculation. Indeed, I think you know less than you think
you know about the dating market then and now! However, please do not ask me
for the proof as the ladies in question are happy and well settled and not in a
million years would I want to disrupt such bliss.
As to the issues I wish to address, they are my choice irrespective of what
you think. If we stayed with your kind of thinking, colonialism would still be
with us, sati would, slavery would, racism as of old would in the UK, women
would not have the vote, racism in the USA would continue as well as genocide
in more places and a host of other social pathologies. You are welcome to want
these but please count me out. Radical change as in South Africa never
promised instant change but the repeated poll evidence we have, irrespective of
what you think, indicates that for the majority, life there is much more
acceptable than during apartheid and that they would like to have many more
visitors and permanent residents, especially business people, from other
countries to help boost the economy further.
I notice that you did not respond to my response to your question how
caste/casteism impinges on "low caste" people but I'm sure there will be more
pearls of wisdom from you even though you said you would end our conversation
when concluding wrongly that, I was an anarchist!

PS As to Albert, if you go back to his many posts, even though sometimes his
posts are not too clear and even appear contradictory, he has been pretty
critical of caste because he thinks it should not exist within the 'Catholic'
fold in Goa. Have you missed this central and cummulative point in his many
posts on the caste issue in Goa?

Hi Cornel,
Albert did not get into a debate with you,
He just mentioned quiet rightly that modern generation does not care two hoots
for caste system in Goa, and it is only the NRI nincompoops who are hankering
after caste. END.
